1972 Graduated from Hae In Sa Sutra School upon completion of Grand Teaching Course
1975 Started retreats at Hae In Sa Seon Center. Afterwards, meditation retreats continued in
many other centers across the nation.
1973 - 1979 Awarded in the Korean Buddhist Art Contest for calligraphy
1978 - 1980 Awarded in the Exhibition Art Contest for calligraphy
1979 First solo exhibition at Gyun Ji Gallery
1981 Second Solo Exhibition at Dong Duk Art Museum
1984 Third Solo Exhibition at Dong Duk Art Museum
1987 Served as Abbot of Won Kak Sa Buddhist temple in Philadelphia, PA
1987 Gave regular speeches for a religious program at KABC radio station
1988 Founded Shang Won Sa Buddhist temple in New York City
1991 Fourth Solo Exhibition at Korean Community Center in New York City
1991 Fifth Solo Exhibition at Space Gallery in Philadelphia, PA
1994 Abbot of Young Hwa Sa Buddhist temple in Denver, Colorado
1995 Founded Hwa Um Sa Buddhist temple in Philadelphia, PA

1997 April 30. Demonstration of calligraphy practice at the Art of Museum in Philadelphia.
2004 Giving lecture at the Sunday Chinese Reading Class.
